BEAL ROPES AND HARNESSES NOW HAVE A DNA CODE

BEAL has not waited for regulation to give its ropes and harnesses a system of guaranteed traceability for life, and an infallible information key to its products.
The first generation of ropes and harnesses integrating this service has been born.
In effect, each product posesses a unique individual number from its manufacture which allows Identification at any time. It’s partly its DNA code, we have thus baptised this Identification system for Identifi cation Number.

SPELENIUM LINE
A product line dedicated and perfectly adapted to the needs of the caver, giving excellent balance between abrasion resistance and flexibility.

 Spelenium 8.5 mmNotice d'emploi
Low stretch rope (type B) perfectly adapted to caving. It’s ease of use comes from it’s thin diameter and remarkable suppleness characteristic of a type B rope The Uni Core process which permanently bonds the sheath to the core prevents any slippage of one over the other. Should the sheath get torn due to abrasion, it still remains glued to the core without any slippage. This allows the user to escape either on his way up or down.

The key points of the Spelenium 8.5mm Uni Core are :
+ Soft to the touch and extreme suppleness for a type B rope.
+ Ease of use even for light users.
+ Enhanced safety as a result of the Uni Core process.
+ Easy to prepare - cutting to length using a simple blade without any heat required to anneal the end is now made possible thanks to the Uni Core process.
+ Reduction of shrinkage in water by more than 50 %.

Type B - Weight per metre: 48,5 g
