BEAL ROPES AND HARNESSES NOW HAVE A DNA CODE
BEAL has not waited for regulation to give its ropes and harnesses a system of guaranteed traceability for life, and an infallible information key to its products. The first generation of ropes and harnesses integrating this service has been born. In effect, each product posesses a unique individual number from its manufacture which allows Identification at any time. It’s partly its DNA code, we have thus baptised this identification system for Identification Number.

Single rope designed for optimum use by a roped party of 3 to 4 on VIA FERRATAS. STRONG POINTS : USES: Roping-up on via ferrata. The dynamic characteristics of this single rope are the same as for the Stinger 9,4 mm.

On via ferrata the fixed equipment may give a false sense of security. General practice is that all the party of climbers are protected by energy absorbing lanyards. However in addition to this individual protection, roping up gives extra security. It is desirable that inexperienced people are roped up with an experienced leader who will use a single, or one strand of double rope, to safeguard them. In this case they are not obliged to use an energy absorber. BEAL’s choice is to use one strand of lightweight single rope, such as a Stinger 9.4mm adapted to Via Ferrata use. |
