BEAL ROPES AND HARNESSES NOW HAVE A DNA CODE

BEAL has not waited for regulation to give its ropes and harnesses a system of guaranteed traceability for life, and an infallible information key to its products.
The first generation of ropes and harnesses integrating this service has been born.
In effect, each product posesses a unique individual number from its manufacture which allows Identification at any time. It’s partly its DNA code, we have thus baptised this identification system for Identification Number.

ADVERTISEMENT: Very lightweight, Type B semi-static rope used for canyoning. Easy to use, this very fine rope is not to be used by everyone. BEAL has produced a rope that requires a specific abseiling technique and much care is needed in managing the friction generated so as not to weaken it through abrasion.

+ Vectran

Lightweight type B rope, for technical canyoning. Very low elongation (2.4%) makes it excellent for long descents on one strand.

STRONGS POINTS :
• Light, easy to handle, very little stiffening.

USES : Technical Canyoning.

Aqua Line HD

This thin rope, very well adapted to technical canyoning, nevertheless requires sustained care and appropriate technique during descents.
Its vivid colour allows it to be recovered easily to allow rope descent in the water flow.
Its diameter allows it to remain supple after shrinkage to facilitate knotting and bag stuffing.
This rope has very low stretch (2,4%) due to the presence of very static Vectran yarn in the core. On shrinking, the rope has a tendency to bunch slightly because the Vectran does not contract. This effect does not have any consequences for the use of Aqualine.
Under the effect of repeated soakings the rope’s length may reduce by up to 10%.

Semi-static rope especially adapted to the needs of Centres. Its extra-thick steath (50% sheath / 50% core) gives very good abrasion resistance, but it’s its permanent suppleness which makes it easy to use and to pack in kit bags.

STRONGS POINTS :
• Abrasion resistance.
• Stays supple over time.
• Colour adapted to "water current technique".

USES : Canyon roping.

This incredible semi-static rope is the only one on the market which stays supple in use, but nevertheless necessitates a warning: Pro Canyon rope has been designed to stay supple in use. This quality has one downsides consequence a defect that must be accepted by the user: in the wet state severe sheath slippage may be sustained during the first few uses. This is in contradiction to the zero sheath slippage given in the preformance characteristics, becuse the official laboratory test is carried out in dry conditions.
